Damp Kitchen - Help!? - installing a floor in a aluminium boat pictures

Hello - Our kitchen seems to have some kind of moisture problem. There are no visible signs, but we believe, odors and moisture. Worse than sugar is strong and so things like washing powder! The kitchen is in an area that is approximately 25 years and had installed a new slate roof with felt there about 2 years. The extension is good in the gutter outside marked and aluminum is a new type. It has a concrete floor and when I had the tiles on the wall after the plaster wet and fell into my hands (in the middle of the kitchen, with half the amount was). I have a feeling that it is not growing can be wet, but it is a hypothesis. What are other causes of moisture in the kitchen, and of course there are all types of wet / treatment myslef I can do to remedy the situation "We will soon have a new kitchen.
