Ramipril is used to apply heart failure (CHF) and hypertension (high blood pressure). Ramipril also prevents heart attacks, strokes and death from cardiovascular disease in patients with risk factors for such events. After a heart attack, ramipril reduced the progression to severe or refractory heart failure, hospitalization for heart failure, heart disease and deaths. Like other ACE inhibitors may slow the progression of renal disease, ramipril in patients with hypertension or diabetes, are caused by the removal of kidney damage caused by hypertension.

Tablets and capsules should be stored at room temperature between 15-30 C (59-86 F).

SIDE EFFECTS: Ramipril is generally well tolerated and side effects are usually mild and transient. A persistent dry cough has been reported with the use of ACE inhibitor ramipril and others. The cough disappears after drug withdrawal. Other side effects include abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, rash, dizziness, fatigue, headache, loss of taste, anorexia, nausea,Vomiting, fainting and numbness or tingling in hands or feet.

Ramipril and other ACE inhibitors can cause renal failure and a high level of potassium in the blood. The most serious, but fortunately very few side effects are liver failure and angioedema (swelling of the lips and throat that can affect the respiratory tract).

I, you better hope soon:)
